AI assistants
Use PublishBuddy from your own AI
The PublishBuddy MCP server gives AI assistants the same tools as our in-app AI Agent: read your analytics, draft posts and schedule them. Connect with an API key that has MCP access, on Pro or Business. Your assistant only sees the accounts you can see in the app, and a new post stays a draft until you schedule it. Claude Code
Add the server with one command, then ask for your analytics or schedule posts from the terminal.
Cursor, VS Code and Windsurf
Add PublishBuddy to your editor's MCP settings and post from the window you work in.
Claude Desktop
Connects through the mcp-remote bridge, with the same tools as the other clients.
Any MCP client
Anything that supports remote MCP servers with a Bearer token can connect. Clients that only sign in with OAuth aren't supported yet. Configs for each client are in the docs.

The public API
A REST API for posts, media uploads, profiles and analytics. Use it to schedule from your own app, a spreadsheet script or an automation tool. Keys are scoped, so each one only does the job you made it for. One key works in every workspace you belong to on Pro or Business.

API reference
File imports
Bring in media from where it already is
No need to download a file and upload it again. The import buttons sit in the Attach Media window, in the post composer, the media library and bulk upload.
Google Drive
Pick images and videos in Google's own file picker. PublishBuddy only gets the files you choose, not your whole Drive.
Dropbox
Choose PNG, JPG and MP4 files in the Dropbox chooser, several at a time.
OneDrive
Sign in with a personal Microsoft account and pick your photos and videos. Work and school accounts aren't supported.
An image link
Paste a direct link to an image, one per line, and PublishBuddy fetches it for you.

Does PublishBuddy work with Claude?
Yes. Claude Code connects to the PublishBuddy MCP server directly, and Claude Desktop connects through the mcp-remote bridge. Create an API key with MCP access in the app, then follow the setup guide.
Can I schedule posts from my own code?
Yes, with the public REST API on Pro and Business. It covers posts, media uploads, profiles and analytics, with API keys you scope to what each job needs.
Which plans include the integrations?
The file imports work in the post composer on every plan. The API and MCP server need Pro or Business, or the free trial.
Is there a Zapier or Make app?
Not yet, and there are no webhooks yet either. The REST API covers most of what those apps would do. Any tool that can send an HTTP request can create and schedule posts today.
Can I import designs from Canva?
Not directly yet. Download the design from Canva and upload it, or save it to Google Drive or Dropbox and import it from there.
